We’ve said it before but have to say again how much we love this place. Got a piece of sushi grade tuna to bring home after a fantastic brisket sandwich with tomato soup. The fish was amazing.
Best sandwich of my life! Considered buying an oven and gifting it to our hotel just so we could try the take and bake pot pies. I would drive hundreds of miles out of my way to eat here! We had the Aleppo pepper sando and all the chips! Heaven!
We visited from out of town, looking for some good grub and read about this place. When our 4 kids were little they used to call themselves “meat-a-tarians” so of course we were drawn to this place with specialty deli meats. So glad we did! The sandwiches were delicious! The meat was flavorful, high quality (no chewy fat or yucky gristle). The fries were perfectly crunchy, salty and fresh. The food was fantastic. My wife had the Italian Beef and I had the Banh Mi. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back to try the Pastrami.
This place won a James Beard award and after eating there I can see why. We ordered the Philly, the Chicken Po, the French onion, and a Greek salad. Every single thing was phenomenal. The Philly was the best I’ve ever had. The French onion they serve has no business being as good as it is considering they’re not a soup place. It’s pricey because it’s an elevated experience—if you’re in flagstaff don’t miss it
