Proper Food totally nailed their Chinese Chicken Salad. The crisp romaine and sweet navel oranges were super fresh, and I loved the crunch from the savory almonds and crispy wontons. Loved discovering this with MealPal—will definitely order again!
Proper Food is a grab-and-go eatery located in the Financial District. It is targeted towards workers in the area as it is only open on weekdays during breakfast and lunch. They sell a lot of standard fare like sandwiches and salads, albeit with a gourmet slant. Was visiting my company's SF office, which was housed in the same building and got a light breakfast here. I can imagine this being a default spot if I was working there and needed to grab something quick to eat.
