Best barbershop in the South Bay! I’ve been getting my hair cut by CR now for over 2 years and he’s consistently phenomenal. The entire shop is great though, the second you walk in you’re treated like family/part of the group and everyone is welcome. I cannot recommend this place more.
Met Shawn last year visiting the Bay after trying to find a new barber. I attempted 4 different barbers who just did not have the technical skill or professionalism. Then I finally got recommended to try Proper Cuts with Shawn--and he exudes all those qualities. Great atmosphere and greater barbers, I definitely recommend this spot!

My barber AG took time to ask exactly how I wanted my haircut, offered suggestions, and made sure everything looked perfect before I left the chair. The fade was clean, the line-up was sharp, and the attention to detail really stood out. On top of that, the shop had a great vibe, professional, welcoming, and spotless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality and consistency!
Hands down the best shop for a fresh fade! I’ve been a long standing client for 7+ years. Shawn (Vegas) and C.R. have truly built something special here. There’s no better place than walking in and feeling like family. Shawn’s even tackled handling and cutting my son’s hair. He’s 2 years old, throws tantrum’s during his cut but Shawn takes extra caution and time when cutting his hair, making sure to not traumatize him and make sure he’s as comfortable as a 2 year old who’s only been cut 4 times ever.
