great shop, 4 stars + a great shop, great pricing, and they will not try to sell you wipers and a air filter that you do not need. did a synthetic oil change for about 15 bucks less than the jiffy boys. these guys are car guys i will be back
huge mistake told me they could fix an electrical problem. one day and $80 later,nothing.told me they needed more time and money.took it to another shop the next day. they fixed it in 1 hour for $30.
Poor Carb Overhaul I blame the mechanic more than the shop. The rig sat at my son's long enough that when I figured out it was a poor carberatour overhaul it was way too late. I was also too far away to take it back reasonably. The carb had to be redone while I waited on it first time; I think the owner should have taken this over and made sure the work was right.
Honest mechanics I have taken my cars to Pronto since I moved to Boise. The owner is honest and fair. The prices are reasonable and most importantly I trust him. I know he is not going to rip me off. All of the repairs done here and have been great. This is a great shop.
Manager Have taken my cars there now for over a year.....always have great work done and I know I can trust these guys! An honest mechanic is worth his weight in gold!!! they always work with us....never start any work until they talk to me about prices and/or options and I am looking to buy my son a car for school....and these guys will run a 'Used Car Service' to tell you what you can expect from a car with high mileage!
