We moved in yesterday. We’ve had an amazing experience so far despite a few hiccups. Lizzy did our move-in appointment. She is friendly and was able to answer all of my questions. I have a six-year-old and she gave him a little tour before we moved in. Promontory is going through construction, but the noise is really minimal. It does not bother me at all. Absolutely LOVE Promontory Point. The actual unit has direct unobstructed ocean views, and sloped ceiling, and was spotless on move-in. Going on 3 years and maintenance requests are always handled quickly with the utmost professionalism. Staff is so friendly, grounds are lush and along with the incredible amenities, are all well-maintained. While the units are old and most definitely require repairs from time to time, the whole experience of living here totally make up for it. It’s a nightmare! I recently moved out of this apartment complex. The whole building, from east to west, north to south, has a bad cockroach problem. I talked to people in other blocks, and they had the same issue. Big cockroaches were in my apartment every day—on countertops, in the sink, under the sink, in the trash, in cupboards, behind TV, even in my bed and my daughter’s closet. Reading the reviews on mold and construction going on for the next several years is true. The Main pool and clubhouse in all the Ad's is not available and are causing crowds at the other pools now that it's summer and forget about getting a spot on the deck of the West pool as it's packed now on weekends.
Living at Promontory Point has been a nightmare. What was marketed as a beautiful, amenity-rich community is actually a nonstop construction zone. The buildings are falling apart, and everything is under renovation—but management won’t tell you that when you sign your lease.
