If I were able to give them, no stars that would have been my choice. This place is probably worse than an actual nursing home. Don’t be fooled by the chandeliers and the fancy carpets because the patient care is totally horrible. I would come in daily to check on my mom only to see her curled up in a ball, cold, urinated all over herself, and sometimes with poop on the bed. I have never seen a finier, professional, more dedicated staff in this facility. My uncle has been in acouple facilities, but this one out beats them all. Nurses have explained the process in Rehab while he'll be getting the care here. My family have met the Administrator, DON, Dietary, Social Services, etc. (You don't get that everywhere in a facility) One of the nurses said: "As fast as we got your Uncle here; ProMedica Rehab once to get home." My father was a patient in ProMedica Moorestown this past summer after suffering a stroke. Don't be fooled by the chandeliers, oriental rugs and fancy furniture. There is no nursing care given. Every day I found my father saturated in urine and stool. He had no voice, no way to help himself. My siblings and I took shifts to go in and help our Dad for every meal and for his AM care. My mom was in for a little over two weeks because of a fall and needed a hip replacement. While we thought the place had the look of a hotel inside, it was very understaffed and quite the opposite from our expectations. While we did find pt and ot staff to be very good, the lack of staff was terrible! One night they had 18 people to one nurse. They said it was usually 14.
