My sons have been going to Toledo Peds for 11 years and I also went to Toledo Peds as a child. The quality of their staff has gone down hill tremendously in the last 5 years. I always wait on the phone for 30 plus minutes before being able to speak to someone to schedule an appointment. After 11 years we are finally switching providers.
The medical assistants here are horrible. Took my son in for his 7 month appointment (he was off track a month bc of rescheduling so technically was his 6 month check up) and vaccinations. The older lady with glasses took us back to a room. Looking at the chart she’s asking us why we are there. I said we have an appointment. She continuously goes back and forth with us, saying we don’t do 7 month appointments. I told her, we are a month off and the doctor scheduled this appointment, there isn’t an issue. Emailed school forms to be completed on July 17th and still haven't received them back. Currently on hold with the office for over 13 minutes. We have gone here for almost 7 years and the office keeps getting harder to get ahold of. They are in SERIOUS need of more staff. Also, our beloved pediatrician Dr Collins retired and the attention and care hasn't felt the same since. My son is almost 2 and a half now. We have been going there since he was born. Since he was about six months old about once every 3-4 weeks to maybe once every other month he gets these insanely high fevers ( 102-104) he throws up he gets the chills his lips even turn purple sometimes.
