Promedica Memorial gets 10 stars from me. I lost my first child. Between the ER and my OB, they are just all incredible. Their education and lack of bias is really key. Promedica admits that they do not use racial corelation factors so as a black scientist and psychologist, I came to Promedica with confidence. So I called the 988 lifeline that’s supposedly free and confidential, apparently I said the wrong words and they called the police on me and had me pinkslipped to the hospital where the nurses threatened me and didn’t listen to a word I said. I finally got someone at Firelands to listen to what I had to say and they released me without treatment. My trust was shattered, they are not looking out for your best interest, the 988 lifeline is not free or confidential and the hospital staff are utilitarian drones of the state. It’... read more
Ken was the absolute worst individual I’ve ever dealt with. If this hospital had one once of common sense, this man would be a janitor over a nurse..
I've honestly had more good experiences here than I've had bad experiences. Yes I've had bad experiences here so it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. The Emergency Department is hit or miss depending on why you go there. Be realistic about what the ED can and can't do. Their job is to get you stable enough to either go home or get transferred to a different hospital. Often it takes many hours to complete a visit. I've spent an entire day in the ED before, not fun. Labor and delivery here is amazing. The nurses are attentive and kind. I felt so cared for here. I can't wait til our precious baby is born here.
