my dad’s 83 and we live on the upper west side. after his surgery we needed private home care, but finding someone who understood our routine wasn’t easy. finally found an in-home caregiver who respected our Jewish traditions she kept the kitchen kosher, understood Shabbat, and never made dad feel weird about it.
