Horrible venue from top to bottom. Nothing about this place says good time.
If you're in a band, do not book here. These douche bags frequently doublebook bands, including out of towners. Sound guy was useless, no door guy to collect money, absolutely no promotion done, not even a single flyer hung. They literally ran out of beer and whiskey at 8:15 on a Saturday. Fuck this place. Seriously, fuck them in the ass.
When you walk up to the building the first thing you notice is the window and door having shattered glass looked like someone took a baseball bat to the door. The bartender was super slow and worried more about her tip jar then making drinks. The floors were sticky as hell. The women's restroom was nasty as hell. Alot of history in this building. Definitely haunted as well. So if your into ghost hunting this would be one of the places in KC to do it!
Always fun, and amazing staff. This is probably my favorite bar in the area.
