Emergency room : Once you get your blood drawn, things become somewhat normal—but until then, expect to be in agony. The front desk won’t help you even if you can’t walk; you’re told to get your own wheelchair. You’ll be asked to tough out pain and X-rays without meds until labs come back. The X-rays “show nothing,” and they won’t order an MRI even when a spinal nerve issue is possible. You leave with no answers. I was taken here after I had a seizure. The entire staff was unprofessional and generally uninformed about anything having to do with seizures. Worst bedside manner big yikes to Nurse Kelsey

The nurses and the doctors were very knowledgeable and very kind and patient with me. They didn't get me stressed at all, because I usually get stressed and worried at the hospital but I didn't. They were super compassionate to me. Thank you ProHealth!

Unfortunately we have been here a couple of times in the last month. Over that last number of years I have found that healthcare facilities are doing a much better job of providing expert medical service, with improved customer service. The Waukesha Hospital ER does a good job, however the one area that needs some attention is the intake area.
