Doctors who are unresponsive uncaring . Literally have me walk out crying with more anxiety than I came in with
I recently went to this practice to help with my chronic sinus infections. The first doctor I saw was patient and seemed to want to try a regimen with me that unfortunately didn't work. I went to her 2 more times with no resolution and then was referred to Dr. Brown who is in CT Tops Docs, but who was not only impatient and abrupt when sticking a camera up my nose, but very dismissive. If I could give ProHealth 0 stars, I would. The appointment confirmation contained a link with the wrong address (15 minutes out of the way). I tried to call the office, explaining that I would be late, but after being on-hold for over 5 minutes, decided to hang up and google the address. When I finally did arrive, I explained the situation. The front desk staff was apathetic and told me I would have to reschedule (and I wouldn't be able to get an appointment for at least 2 weeks). Don't bother to call this doctor as a new patient even if your insurance does not require a referral. I don't have a PCP, my insurance does not require a PCP to refer me to ENT, and this office was extremely rude and unprofessional about their "office policy" of requiring a PCP referral.
Dr. Drake is not only competent, but extremely patient centric and knowledgeable. His willingness to listen and teach the patient as a method for better understanding between patient and doctor thereby yielding the best possible results. I went to Dr. Drake with a critical issue and great uncertainty and left with confidence and resolution to my issues. Thank you, Dr. Drake, you are the best!
