Dr. Bernstein should not be operating. Please do your due diligence on this man. He has multiple lawsuits against him and has been reported to the medical bureau multiple times. He did an ankle surgery on me and told me I would be walking within 2 weeks. It took me 5 months to actually walk and I was not walking normal with constant inner ankle pain. I am giving this practice 1 star because of their insurance practices. New patient services weren't up front with what "accepted" insurance means. Even on their website, they say they "work" with insurance plans. Beware...that doesn't mean in network. It just means they accept the insurance, but for out-of-network costs. Billing was helpful in explaining their process after the fact, but it doesn't change the fact that I feel I was misled. This establishment is one of the most professional and outgoing places i have ever step into. The staff is amazing with the Capital A!!!!!! Top quality doctors and top quality staff. Extremely wonderful human beings i highly recommend them!
Being referred to an orthopedic surgeon is definitely not the greatest highlight of the day. However the staff and Dr were very supportive compassionate and courteous! The office is very clean and no wait time. If you find yourself needed an orthopedic surgeon this office is definitely where you need to be!
