This was my first time at Progress West and my first overnight stay (4 days). What a wonderful experience give the situation. I felt cared for, comforted and heard during the diagnosis, surgery, treatment and recovery. The nursing staff on the 4th floor was incredible! They were all extremely attentive, fast when I needed something and went above and beyond to care for my adult daughter who would not leave my side. 7 hours and still waiting to get in a room to be seen by a doctor. No one knows anything and they don't care to find out for you. Unbelievable! Go ANYWHERE else.
My er visit was ok but it is disgraceful how they push you to pay your copay when youre in the worst pain of your life. I told the woman I would pay it later and she came back 5 minutes later and asked when I would pay. Does she get a bonus for collecting copay up front?
