Just had a colonoscopy here at Progress west hospital: The best and smoothest health/medical service i have ever experience from checking in every body from staff to nurses to medical personnel was very professional, nice and acoomodating. Explained every detail on what to expect and how things are done. They made it comfortable and easy for me. Essentialy they were with me from start to finish and always checking up on me . The facilities are also clean .

This location truly made me feel cared for during a very difficult time. The physicians, nurses, case management staff, and everyone I encountered were thoughtful, compassionate, attentive, and genuinely concerned about my well-being. I really wish they had the equipment and resources needed to treat my specific diagnosis there, because unfortunately I had to be transferred to BJC Downtown for a higher level of care. Gave me an IV they got a nerve and I told them, this really hurts. They ignored my pain button till I told them to let me leave, the pain was unbearable and they ignored it till I had somone force them to come take the IV out unless your actively Dying NEVER go here

I’ve been in and out of hospitals since being diagnosed with severe illness 23 years ago. I’ve been to small town hospitals and big city hospitals. There are good people at Progress West, but the people in charge, mainly the hospitalist that I dealt with, was terrible. And they are the people who make the big decisions. She didn’t listen, talks right over you, and then apparently discharges you at the first possible sign you are getting even remotely better.
