I am a vet tech and had a tough case come in where a dog needed surgery and possible blood transfusion. I called the office that day since i had an evening group to alert them it was possible I would not make it in depending on how the surgery went. I called a total of 3 times that day when I could provide updates and finally calling by 3:02 in the afternoon I couldn't make it to my appointment.
