I used this business to serve a small claim to someone and for some reason they had me fill out my credit card information and refused to bill me when I sought their service. They insisted they would bill me after the person was served. They billed me after the person was served, approximately a week later. During the court date the person I sued presented the very same document that I had filled out with my sensitive credit card information on it and the judge ordered him to hand it back to me. My go to Court Filing company in Humboldt County. Affordable and quick service. Very communicative and knowledgeable. Steve is amazing! Every time I have a filing, he gets it done that day. If they don’t have time, he communicates that and gets it done the next day. Today I had a filing I didn’t need to get filed until next week, and he offered to get it filed today with no extra charge. Thank you Professional Photocopy!
In short, this company failed to fill out a proof of service correctly and lied about the date the original was sent back to me. Due to their errors the deadline was not met, and the court did not accept the proof of service, and this company took no responsibility for their errors. Had they done their job correctly the deadline would have been met, with or without their prior knowledge of the deadline - which was plainly posted on the citation but was not explicitly told to them.
