Does a great job helping create new coping skills and actually listens to your problems
I’ve been seeing POCS for a couple years on and off for many different reasons. They have been absolutely accommodating with my disability and chaotic life. I’ve seen two different therapists through here and both have been absolutely phenomenal. They have helped me and guided me throughout some tough Times in my life! Looking forward to Continuing my mental health journey with POCS
This place is weird. My mother asked me to call to set up an appointment with a therapist and the lady at the front desk with a British accent off the bat didn't even want to consider my mom as a patient. She told me it would be better if she found someone that speaks her language when I cleverly told her my mother speaks and understand English. Tried to take my daughter here for counseling. The first time that we came here they told us that she didn’t wanna come and that we needed to set up a second appointment for just her father and I then when we came just her father and I they asked where our daughter was and we had to leave and go pick up our daughter and bring her back up there. At the time of both services we were told that there was no fee because they could not help us then a year later I just got a $60 bill in the mail and they said they charge $15 each t... read more
Wasn't advised that the intake for a 12 year old would be done via video call until the day prior. Was sat in a room with no instructions until the "therapist" called my phone and asked if I was at the office. Therapist was completely unable to read the room over video and did not seem to even want to try to understand the situation at all. She didn't want to take the time either because she had to get to her next call as she told me twice.
