I relocated my Probat P12-2 about 10 months ago. Jamie, the Field Service Technician, flew to my somewhat remote location in California and converted the roaster from natural gas to propane. Since then, the roaster has worked flawlessly. Long time Probat user here. We scheduled a technician to come out to teach as well as get some routine maintenance squared away. We had Jamie come out and teach us everything and anything we wanted to know about our machines. She even was able to get one of our roasters ( that has been down since Aug. 2024) up and running better than ever. Our 2 day learning session was condensed to one day- with all questions answered as well getting our machines in great shape! I've spent the last 19 years roasting coffee on Probat equipment with much of it still running the same parts. That kind of durability has me hoping that I'll never be forced to roast on anything else. Excellent heat transfer, caramelization, yields the best coffee you'll ever taste.
