Don't waste your time. I am an owner of a Virginia property they managed, and they ripped me off the last month rent the tenant paid. They said it was to cover fees they failed to collect from THE TENANT years ago. Do yourself a favor and choose a company that operates ethically and morally.

PPM has been such a joke. Currently we have been moved out of their property for 54 days and we still have not received our full security deposit. They sent us a check for part of it, when I inquired as to why we did not get the full amount I was told they tried to charge us for another months rent. It was a joke getting through to anyone to help, Ted in the finance department couldn't be bothered to return my phone calls or let me know what was going on. We were renting a townhouse in Reston through them. After we moved in, I found a hole in the wall in the basement that leaked badly after each rain. At times I had to literally sandbag the area around the leak so the water wouldn't flood the whole basement. They were impossible to get hold of, and never fixed the problem until we moved out.

My husband and I have also had numerous problems with this company. To start with, our water heaters was broken when we moved in and it took them a MONTH to have someone come to fix it, and that was after repeated calls. Then they send numerous late notices when the checks were mailed with more than sufficient time to arrive. When you call to dispute the late notices, you always get the voicemail. IF they call you back, they are not helpful. Our water heater is broken AGAIN, and it has been 3 weeks and still no one has come ... read more
