This company is HORRIBLE. If you are a broker STAY AWAY. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before I placed orders with them. I have had issues through the whole process and the latest issue concerning 2 appraisal orders being put on hold for the second time. I waited on hold for 20 minutes only to be sent to Kristy Lawrence's, Partner Relations, voicemail. Kristy Lawrence was nice enough to return my call but was rude from the start. An appraiser contracted by Pro Teck failed to complete an appraisal of my property according to standard procedure and direction from my lender. This resulted in the mortgage being dismissed, costing me thousands. I reached out to Pro Teck via the contact tool on their website and never received a response. I would not trust this company or the people they contract with any of my future valuation or appraisal needs. Be sure to ask your lender who they use. If it's Pro Teck request another company.
Appraisal was delivered on the Due date and was thorough and used recent comps allowing us to close on time
Terrible customer service. Their system stinks do not use these guys!
I used this company's appraisal services for a refi. Not only they took forever to respond, which caused delays in my closing and me having to pay extra to extend the lock on the mortgage rate, but also their appraised value came much lower than market value. The appraisal report was marred with errors, but most notably the appraiser completely ignored the KPIs (price/sqft, price/rooms, gross rent multiplier etc.) of the comparables the APPRAISER PROVIDED and instead used made up numbers to justify the appraised value.
