I took my phone in for a simple back screen repair, but I ended up with a bigger problem than I started with. They fixed the back screen, sure, but somehow managed to completely break my Face ID in the process. Now I have a working screen but can't use one of the main security features of my phone. Took my phone for repair of broken rear glass on my iPhone after I had dropped it. I later had a call to tell me the front screen needed replacing so I agreed to this. When I picked up my phone, I paid $358 for the new black front screen, rear glass still broken - would cost another $180 to repair. I decided not to go ahead with that. 2 days later, an Apple message popped up on my screen advising me the screen fitted was not a genuine Apple part and may not function properly.
