I saw Dr. Iben twice for a sore shoulder. She did some acupuncture and cupping. She barely spent anytime with me and did very little physical manipulation of my shoulder joint to help reduce the inflammation. The cupping was done via machine so she could see other patients in parallel. I have since gone to another specialist with much better results.
I've been seeing Dr. Ibin for some time now for chronic neck, back, and sacroiliac joint pain. I won't claim to be cured, and will have to say that the acupuncture has made a BIG difference! I appreciate Dr. Ibin's capacity to listen and offer appropriate treatments accordingly.
Dr. Weihong Zhang Iben is such a caring acupuncturist. She treats you with multiple modalities across acupuncture, electro-stim, cupping, ear seeding, herbal medicine, etc. and is very skilled. (My friend also independently recommended her!)
I have had lower back pain for quite a while and have tried a few acupuncture treatments. Dr Iben is by far the most effective. She is knowledgeable and patient. The acupuncture with electro stimulation method is especially interesting as it hits deep and relax the muscles. The cupping machine is also great in improving circulation. Highly recommended!
