I've dealt with LOTS of auto wreckers over the many many used cars that I've owned. I've recently discovered PRO Auto Recyclers in Abbotsford, and they have been outstanding to work with. Great price on a transmission for one car, a shifter for another, and a rear differential. They've earned my business, and you should give them a chance too!
