Dr. Merlino not only saved my arm #necrotizingfasciitis, he saved my soul and allowed me to continue to raise my daughter that I had adopted from a Russian orphanage when she 12 months old. This disease snuck up on me in the light, but in the cover of dark just dared me to die. It was pretty flipping close. My daughter recognizes my very strange reaction at 2 am in the morning and my doctor, who I text at 3 am reactions was, get to Mount Sinai NOW! And that was just the beginning....
