I went to this doctor because my PCP knew from my lab results that I had hyperparathyroidism and needed to see an endocrinologist. Despite the fact that this is the only known illness that causes the very specific lab results I had, Dr. Banga insisted that because I didn't have symptoms of late stage hyperparathyroidism-kidney stones and osteoporosis-that I didn't have the disease.
