I went to 1 Theall Road Westmed ophthalmology department after having discomfort in my eye, I was able to get an appointment with Dr Boos who while examining me saw a foreign body in my eye and said he wanted Dr Batta , a cornea specialist to look at it, it wound up being a piece of metal, she removed it and told me there was ring rust in eye also, she was patient and attentive to my needs and I really appreciate the care I received,

I have not yet seen this Dr. I called to reschedule. I have not had my eyes checked in maybe 7-10 years. I wear glasses and I wanted to see a MEDICAL Dr for a check up. The receptionist questioned why I was making the appointment in the first place, and she indicated I should see an Optometrist, as Dr. Bhatti is a medical Dr. I said- yes that is why I made the appointment in the first place, to see a MD. Dr Batta did cataract surgery on me a few years ago. She was easy to talk to and explained the procedure very well. I had a great outcome and recommend her very highly.
