Had a great tour of beautiful Pritchard House. A very knowledgeable guide (Sandy) who explained so many things about the house, objects, furniture, and the family. I have been on many house tours, and this one is right up there.
We attended the Pritchard House Heritage Garden Tour and enjoyed our time The volunteers were dressed in vintage attire and were very friendly and informative. The Pritchard House is owned by Brevard County and operated by the North Brevard Heritage Foundation and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Most people don't know but it's made from pine Heartwood. Almost like lighter knot when you're out camping 20 years ago the termites were so bad I was on the restoration crew and it's so nice to see that our efforts in many other have preserved the place Remember when you go there to ask to see the servants staircase yes they were not the nicest people in the world but not horrible you'll see that there's a private staircase so that the guests never saw the servants Owen from the kitchen to the upper floors a of course then ... read more
