We have been coming to this area for 12 years. Emerald Palms was by far the best accommodations we have had for our 3-month snowbird stay. The house was perfectly equipped with every item one could imagine. The owners were outstanding people whom we met. It is located in a quiet area; on high surf nights, you could hear the waves rolling in from the delightful screened porch or in the master bedroom. I booked a home through this company and applied a discount code that their system accepted at checkout. After my reservation was confirmed, I was contacted and told I would need to pay the difference or have my trip canceled, simply because the discount amount was “too much.” I reviewed the rental agreement and terms thoroughly and could not find any provision allowing a confirmed reservation to be canceled or repriced after booking due to dissatisfaction with a discount that was accepted by their own system.
