Very poor emergency room. They state how well they take care of an evaluate elderly dementia patients. And when you get there you have to beg and threaten to get rvrn the most basic evaluation to meet SCDHEC requirements for admission to a facility. No compassion for a 90 year old international repatriation patient with dementia who just recently suffered a fall and partial hip replacement surgery in the UK and returning home to memory care. I can't really complain a hole lot about the hole hospital but i was scheduled for a special test to be run.And the day I was scheduled to have it done the first time I went in and they lost everything.I could not be seen at that time or could not have the test run.So I had to reschedule and have it done at a later date
I have great insurance. I don't know what is wrong with prisoner. Billing department for a bear, regular hospital and also their urgent care. Somebody in the building department has dropped the ball. They don't know how to code properly and subsequently. I get a bill when I should not be getting no bill. So the urgent care refused to see me across South Carolina because of their building inconsistencies, what does that have to do with me? I have NEVER in my life experienced such poor care and horrible staff. It was an absolute nightmare for 3 nights.
My experience with the Prisma Health Richland Hospital Emergency Department was extremely disappointing. My husband visited the Emergency Department twice within a few days due to severe head, tooth, and throat pain caused by a dental infection. During every visit, I accompanied him to help advocate for him because he has a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and PTSD.
