This was by far the most unprofessional and uncaring OBGYN visit I’ve ever had. The nurse practitioner clearly couldn’t care less about me or my baby. She didn’t listen to a single concern I had, barely made eye contact, and acted like I was wasting her time. I told her I’ve been having episodes of low blood sugar so bad that I lose consciousness, and her exact words were basically that she “wasn’t worried” because my baby is just “taking all my blood and oxygen instead of it going to my brain.” Seriously? I checked in for my appointment and no one mentioned my provider was delivering a baby. I went over to the main waiting area and sat for about 15-20 minutes and then I looked up and noticed it said she was delivering a baby on the update board. I went to the desk in that waiting area and they said my provider was 1 hr behind on appointments. The lack of communication was really not acceptable. Had a horrible experience with my first pregnancy at this OB so I switched. Best decision I ever made. For the doctor being concerned with my baby's head at my first 8 week ultrasound was a red flag. Did multiple ultrasounds, an early genetic test and got sent to MFM for it to be all nothing and I was carrying a healthy baby. This was almost three years ago and still so glad I switched.
I had a good experience with the OB at Greer. My work gave them a hard time about my paperwork for my FMLA, but they managed to get everything fixed. I had a healthy son and the nurses and doctors are so nice!
If you can avoid this office and go elsewhere, I highly suggest it. They do not care about your wellbeing or babies wellbeing. They'll just tell you to take your issues to the ER so they don't have to deal with them. Doctors like to talk over you and not let you speak. Just all over a horrible experience with this location and not listening to my concerns.
