A borderline incompetent establishment. From surgeons who dont take large enough samples out of obvious distaste for the orders, to dietary bringing allegic food to my allergic child. Hardly anyone seems to know how to do their jobs. And that is just the children's side. The normal hospital schedulers hang up on you; rude white security men at the front of the building talk to women as if they are stupid. A few drs are amazing, the majority are useless. Very unorganized and extremely rude nurse in the children’s ER. I would never return here!
Some wonderful nurses/staff. A kind Doctor here or there. I can say Prisma in general is HIGHLY misinformed of Strep in children. These Doctors need serious training on the warning signs of invasive strep, rheumatic fever, PANDAS, etc. They will literally let it destroy your lives before listening to a parent or properly investigating. They have one set of tests, then push you out the door. Not all Strep shows on the swab! Gaslighting is at an all time high & is criminal at this point. This place is INFURIATING! My newborn had the flu in March and never fully recovered. Spiking random high fevers and lanored breathing. The 3 times I've been here they don't test or anything they say here's tylenol and there's no sense in running tests. Now today she comes in with a 103 degree fever with only tylenol given and told it could be RSV or Bronchitis but no point in testing because there's nothing we can do.
