We arranged for a Priority 1 repair visit last winter when an external unit failed. To his credit, the guy did do what we paid for and identified the root cause of the issue, but then said there were three other small components he thought also needed replacing for a total cost of $2000. He also said there was no guarentee that the repair would work, and that if it didn't then we would be left with no choice but to replace the entire unit at a cost of $6000 (on top of the first $2000, if we still wanted to do that first). This company is like monopoly business. After booking a service or repair, they select what time & what date to come in for service & maintenance. With everything We have to be ready with their time. What ever appointments or plans or anything we have it’s not their problem, they call you & give you a time and we have to cancel everything (parents meetings, doctors appointments, emergency things) & await until they come for repairs.
