Extremely disappointed. Bought a home they built on spec and was told they would make changes and correction in workmanship at the 30 day walk thru. We are now six months in and they still have not completed the 30 day checklist. I have bought and built several homes and have not been this disappointed with a builder. The lack of follow through and attention to detail is unacceptable.
As a USAF Veteran and Retired Police Officer I moved to North Carolina to retire in Mooresville. Upon moving I rented a house to see where I wanted to live. My wife and I looked at several builders however all of them required a construction loan which we had no experience with nor could we afford two payments at a time (rent and construction loan). In 2013 we hired Princeton Builders to build our retirement home. We had solicited bids from two builders and both came in at essentially the same price. We chose Princeton due to the owner's engineering and construction background, and the welcoming family atmosphere of their business. This was a new home and all discrepancies (about 15 minor problems) with the exception of one ( small crack in the driveway) were corrected to my satisfaction. Princeton was couteous and their representative Deborah Bowen and their repair person (Bill) were outstanding. It was a pleasure working with Princeton and I hope our final one year inspection goes like the first. We are extremely pleased with the home and with Princeton as the builder
