This place has been really great for me. Came in with serious bipolar depression and have made really great progress while in the program. The staff are very helpful with getting work accommodations, medication management, etc. The therapists are excellent, Mikayla is my primary and she’s amazing.
This place used to be good but now it is a joke just like the rest of the health care industry. Beholden to the whims of insurance companies and government agencies, they are not interested in actually helping clients. They just put everyone on vraylar and ect like anywhere else. One size fits all approach and they, just like all these places these days, no longer employ actual doctors but only lsw and nurse practitioners who will openly admit that they aren't qualified.
Group is fine, Marisol and Dr. Ojo are amazing. But they kicked me out bc they don’t understand eating disorders or anxiety. And I have yet to find a therapist since and now they are the last ones to see me and could help me with my FASFA as I come from an abusive household Kathleen refuses to help. This place does not do well for someone with abandonment issues. They teach you some coping skills and help you get on meds that’s about it. If you need genuine help I probably wouldn’t recommend.
