I DO NOT recommend Dr. Sophia Atkhar as a doctor. She does not help or listen to what I am asking. Refuses to do basic things such as filling out a bloodwork requisition that was requested. Only prescribes Naproxen for issues.
Dr. Akhtar is a great physician. When our physician retired took us about a year to find her. She has made some great referrals, takes her time, and made a couple of great diagnosis for 2 members of my family and referred and treated each appropriately. We truly appreciate being under her care.
First off I am really sorry about Dr. Dubois and her health issues. I have been a patient of Dr. Dubois since she started practicing and all of a sudden I have no doctor. There is no one in my area accepting patients and I have tried all over, I have been put on a waiting list. I have a type of Lupus and a blood disorder APLA and not sure what to do now.
