I am very appreciative to have a family physician and I am a pt. of Dr. Akhtar who I've found to be patient, listens, doesn't rush through the appt. and very approachable I'm happy to have her as my physician!
my experience with Dr. Akhtar was awful
I DO NOT recommend Dr. Sophia Atkhar as a doctor. She does not help or listen to what I am asking. Refuses to do basic things such as filling out a bloodwork requisition that was requested. Only prescribes Naproxen for issues.
Dr. Akhtar is a great physician. When our physician retired took us about a year to find her. She has made some great referrals, takes her time, and made a couple of great diagnosis for 2 members of my family and referred and treated each appropriately. We truly appreciate being under her care.
