As a postdoctoral researcher, I had a very positive experience working with the PMGC team. Farzaneh was especially helpful and worked closely with me as I started my first-ever spatial project, providing guidance and support throughout the process. I also appreciated the professionalism and coordination from project managers Jennifer and Urja. Overall, I’m grateful for the team’s support and for the role they played in helping me begin my spatial research journey.
Amazing, hard working staff who always provide realistic expectations, make their schedules flexible when science demands, and typically provide data ahead of the timeline they set. I’ve worked with them across multiple 10x genomics platforms, and very honestly, without their help designing experiments and the excellent data they provide, we wouldn’t have had our papers be at the highest level of scientific rigor that they are at.
I have utilized PMGCs services during my PhD to have them perform the CUT&RUN technique for us and it has been an extremely frustrating experience. We have been going back and forth for nearly 6 months now with no useable data so far. Firstly, given that the first step is an antibody optimization, we provided cells and antibody and PMGC failed to produce any useable data even with the positive control and said the kit had gone bad.
