Dr Hifer and his team outstanding! Super kind and patient very knowledgeable. Makes you feel like anything is possible. I’m grateful to have him as my Dr. thank you to you and your team for making super comfortable.. nurses don’t get enough credit and they deserve it!!
I had my mammogram done today, and the politeness and efficiency of the staff were remarkable. The receptionist was beyond accommodating as I got my appointment time wrong and arrived later, but she was still extremely polite and let me keep my appointment. The technician was not only experienced, but explained every step and kept checking if I was okay throughout the exam.
It’s standard practice and required to place sterile tape over an inserted IV. PMH seems to think it’s ok to stick medical tape on a chair and then use that tape to secure the IV. They said the hospital will not provide sterile tape for the MRI department. The risk of infection is greatly increased from this practice. I was told if I need sterile tape over an IV site for my next MRI, I should request it prior to the appointment 😳 shocking to see - felt like I was in a hospital in the third world
