Our group Women’s Art Association of Peterborough meets here monthly, bimonthly and for special occasions such as our end of year Luncheon, Christmas luncheon etc. We are so pleased with all of the staff from the Executive Director, Director of Marketing, Receptionist, Dietary Staff and Recreation for helping us set up our meetings. Our family has come to know Princess Gardens Retirement Residence as a wonderful place to call home, first for our grandmother, and more recently our parents. At the age of 90 our grandmother moved from Thornhill ON to Princess Gardens to be closer to family. She was a very independent, active and sharp minded individual. We have had a very good experience with Princess Gardens. Our Mom chose the Gardens 9 1/2 years ago. Independent Living first, then a transition to Enriched Care after the well managed COVID nightmare. Wonderful river view and walks, good meals, well planned activities, a compassionate staff AND a fabulous fish tank (decorated for the season). I have been a Zumba Gold Fitness Instructor for many years at Princess Gardens. I also provide entertainment with singing here. This is the kind of place where people will discover how great senior living can be. The staff and the building environment help create a community where people make friends, form bonds, and enjoy life.
