In reality, Primordial is both a Russian Restaurant and Georgian Restaurant. Primordial cuisine has a Georgian flavor. This is due in part to our former owner, Bubs Khotoveli, who is from the city of Kurtis. Georgia is one of the 15 republics of the former USSR, and is located near the Black Sea. We cover our tables in a delicious smorgasbord of Cold appetizers, hot appetizers, Shush Kebabs, and of course the Russian Vodka. We also carry a large selection of Georgian Wines for the light drinkers. Primogenitor is also one of ... read more

My favorite place! I love to dine out in the city, and I try to visit a lot of restaurants. But Primorski is still my favorite, for the complete dining experience. It is quiet, cozy and romantic. The service is outstanding...the food is amazing..Everything is always fresh and delicious. The prices are affordable. What else? I love Russian Primorski!!
A nightmare that should be SHUT DOWN – I went here with my husband and friends on a weekday. Now, I'm an American, but my parents are from the USSR. I can understand Russian. The staff didn't know that, however. And as we waited for our food to arrive, two of them stood in the corner, SMOKING and talking in Russian about "how best to rip off these stupid Americans". Well, that they did, or at the very least tried to. When our food arrived (40 minutes later despite the fact that the place was nearly empty), it consisted of ap... read more
Horrible – I used to love this place, but the service is terrible, and most of the meal I ordered really had a bad taste to it. I was told that the restaurant was sold about 2 years ago, and hoped it would stay the same, unfortunatlly it hasn't. When I used to come to restaurant it gave me a warm feeling because everyone was so polite, but this time when I went it was the complete opposite. I would not recommend this restaurant any more to anyone.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE – I went there for dinner, after which decided to have my bday party there. food is great, prices are descent, service is good, music is great. They also have a 3 course lunch special all week for $5. After my birthday party banquet, I've gone there many times with my friends and family. I definitely recommend it. If not for dinner, then definitely to try the $5 lunch menu.
Unbelievable experience – I couldn't believe this place. The food was stacked on tables, the vodka kept flowing, the music kept playing, and I had a great time.
Not very good!! – This restaurant is stuck in the past. Food is average, music is old and too loud. Its like a bad old movie. There are plenty of good Russian restaurants in the area. Do not waist your time on this one.
Great food Great fun – I come here all the time. The food is awesome. Very cheesy wanna be romantic decor and entertainment, but have some vodka and you want to come right out onto the dance floor and dance the night away to a mix of really bad russian and american disco music.
This place has it all! – I love Russian food and Brighton Beach in Brooklyn is the place to be for fine Russian food. Primorski has it all! Great food, excellent service, beautiful girls and exciting music & entertainment. I love eating, drinking and dancing. This is why I love Primorski, it has it all. I highly recommend Primorski for a real authentic Russian treat!
You've Got To See It To Believe It! – This place is such a find! Happened to stumble upon it during my first trip to Brighton Beach. Wasn't sure it was open at first, as it was nearly empty on a Thursday evening. But soon the "live band" (two Russian relics, one on keyboard/synthesizer the other on guitar) started playing - everything from polka-type tunes to 80s/90s pop (Wham!, Clapton, Sade). They were a scream! Just when I thought it couldn't get any more kitschy, the mirrorball started spinning, the rainbow disco lights ... read more
