As written by a recent reviewer, office desk and phone staff very unprofessional and rude, bullying patients checking in saying they are late when they were not. Dr Shah not doing any physical exam for abdominal issues until a fourth visit to the office, and being dismissive of patient symptoms, yet collecting co-pays and billing insurance for full visits Office manager not forthright or helpful to patient and complicit with staff things putting notes to falsely disparage patients. Just had a terrible experience at this office as a new patient. The front desk claimed I arrived ten minutes late for my scheduled appt, even though I had text confirmation showing I was right on time. They refused to see me and were unkind to speak with. Terrible first impression. They have no policy that even stated they would refuse a patient if I was in fact actually ten minutes late. Jennifer Karanian (and Luis) are literally the only saving graces for this specific practice. They are beyond fabulous. Aside from them, the lady at the front desk has a really nasty attitude, the other APRN's have nasty attitudes, scheduling person has a nasty attitude, the billing department has digusting attitudes, and God forbid you want to speak to a nurse in the office!! Again, nasty attitudes.
I cannot brag enough about Jen. I call her doctor Jen. I'm a person that's very nervous going to any doctor's appointments. I never feel that way with Dr Jen. She is very kind, very understanding, and never judges. Both my husband and I are very lucky to have her as our primary Care.
Dr Rodgers and staff have always taken the time to talk through my issues. They are polite, thorough and professional. Grateful to have them on my side.
