Last word in kosher dining – I have been to many places - some favorites include Solo and Prime KO, but if you are looking for the last word in kosher dining you must go to Prime Grill. Everything from the service, to the ambiance to the food is so spectacular and I am blown away every time I am there. I love when the chef comes out to his dining room - speaks with guests - it shows a lot about the place and where the food is coming from. They truly value the customer. Get the duck spring rolls and for lunch the BBQ sandwich... read more

real deal – Yes, Prime Grill is a little noisy- but so are ALL NYC hot spots with people trying to get in the door! I am always 100% satisfied with the food and service- and considering it is fine dining, it's not so expensive. I only wish their Tuesday special- the Delmonico- was EVERY night. The maitre D' also always remembers us and tries to give us the quietest table possible- and in the summer it's great to sit outdoors and enjoy a glass of wine.

Delicious steak – My husband and I went to have dinner there last week for our anniversary. I was almost discouraged from going because of bad reviews I read. I am glad we still went. We had and excellent night out dining that was just perfect. We made reservations and did not have to wait to be seated. Our coats were hung up for us and our server Danny was very nice and knowledgeable. My husband ordered the Park Avenue steak which was cooked to perfection! I love the sauces that came with it. I had the brisket which was goo... read more

Good food, lousy service – The service was deplorable. I was part of a party of 16; there were several people who are kosher and the rest were not. The waiters and the bus staff were grumpy and seemed offended when I asked for more water and a clean fork. The air conditioner was not on when it was easily 75 or 80 degrees in the main dining room. The maitre 'd told me the climate was controlled by the building; I don't buy it. A restaurant of this price range and stature should have control over the temperature in the room. I... read more

Restaurant was fine. I would generally recommend this place, as the food was quite nice, service was good and they were very friendly.

Good for Kosher or Company Dining – I'm not Jewish, but I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The steaks were good, but the sushi was even better! I also was a fan of the beef jerky. Mango Martinis were fabulous. I will admit it is overpriced and a bit high brow, but great for business functions.

Most Upscale Kosher Steakhouse – This is the only kosher restaurant that I feel comfortable taking non jewish clients to. Wonderful service, great food, and extremely upscale.

Not even that good for kosher food. – The restaurant has a pleasant appearance and outside seating is very nice in the summer. The only thing that separates Prime Grill from a good steakhouse is the lack of good steak. The steaks are overdone. If you want medium, ask for medium rare. The food is also unsophisticated. The steaks come with ketchup and French fries. Also, the staff will not allow you to substitute a side dish or accommodate anything that differs from what's on the menu. This restaurant would be acceptable for h... read more
