Visiting from out of town! Delicious! Try the squash soup and black bean, cheese, and plantain empanada. It is sooooo good.

Visited the location at Renningans Flea Market. I've been to a number of places in Melbourne for empanadas, but they weren't good enough for me to want to go again (not to mention they weren't very friendly to me...). The owner of Prime Empanada greeted me immediately and happily offered recommendations of empanadas to try out. I sampled the beef+pork, chicken, and cheese empanadas in addition to the sauces. I'm not a sauce person, but I liked those! This place is now on my list of places to visit again and again.
Stopped in at the Empanada King for lunch today, their location at the flea market. The empanadas are crisp on the outside and yummy and super satisfying. Delicious! I'll be back! :)
