I was very unhappy with this appraisal service. The appraisal was $135,000 lower than another appraisal done six months later and $120,000 lower than another appraisal done 5 years prior (in a rising market). I would not recommend using this company.

I sincerely hope that you don't have to deal with this company during your housing refinance--in fact, I would recommend that you request that they are not used. This company undervalued our house drastically, had factual errors in their report, and, even after submitting a rebuttal that pointed out discrepancies in their report, they refused to reconsider their appraisal. If you want a company that does not use logic and common sense to appraise a house, then I guess these are your guys!

Very interesting reading these other reviews as this appraiser ALSO incorrectly measured square footage and shorted value of my clients purchase. Appraisal came in $65k under purchase price!! Insane, never seen such a shortage in my 7 years in this business. MANY errors in tabulating value which included 1. using vintage comps with no credit given to the units own central HVAC 2. no credit given to washer / dryer in unit, other comps had coin laundry 3. said there was outdoor deck space when there wasn't 4. said the area was... read more
