I have been very frustrated with the way this office handles patient communication. Unlike many other practices, Kennestone Family Medicine does not provide After Visit Summaries (AVS) to patients through the portal, by email, or even at the end of the appointment. This leaves you in the dark about your care plan, prescriptions, and follow up instructions. On top of that, the office rarely calls back with updates or answers to questions. Prior to this week I would have scored a 5. As of now, a shaky 2 is about all I can give. I called earlier in the week to schedule and appointment for sinus congestion. Initially, they were more than happy to schedule my appointment as requested. I received a follow up call within minutes claiming that my symptoms "could" be either the flu or COVID, so I would have to go to an Urgent Care as they would not see me with a stuffy nose. I can not say enough about Dr.Peng and his staff. I needed emergency medical clearance for a procedure. They went out of their way to fit me in and do everything needed to make it happen. Now keep in mind, I am not someone that comes to their office regularly, I am fairly healthy. I was blown away by their efforts and help. I would highly recommend this office for all of your healthcare needs they offer.
Terrible excuse for a doctors office. If you enjoy for staff and doctor to talk about you behind your back, this is the place for you.
Dr. Peng and his team more than a doctors office to me and my family. They are more like family. Dr. Peng truly cares for his patients! I don't know what I'd do without him. ❤️
