I think this is one of the most friendly kind and thorough offices Ive ever been to. The front desk receptionist, the tech, Dr and Gina who helped me with the prefect glasses that fit in my budget. Merchant Walk Charlottesville. The whole visit was satisfactory.
1. My prescription was incorrect. I have always purchased my glasses at Eyemart Express and they said this prescription is significantly different from all of my past prescriptions. 2. My husband waited weeks for his second pair to arrive and he doesn't see well out of either pair of his glasses either. We won't return.
I was charged $165. for mono vision exam in addition to the $205. for the comprehensive exam. Nothing was done outside of the comprehensive exam. No trial contact lens, no fitting, just a new date on my previous prescription from another provider. The frames are way overpriced and the sales people while friendly are aggressive in selling. Unless you don't mind spending too much avoid MyEyeDr.
This rating was given because of the long wait time. My new glasses need adjustment and possibly evaluation because of vision blurr. There were only two technicians helping customers with new eyeglasses. The wait was extremely long. January 2026 - SAME EYE GLASSES ISSUE + SAME LONG WAIT! Still only two people working to fit glasses and make corrections. 😐
I ordered transition prescription glasses in early November and was told they would be ready within 14 days. I didn’t receive them until January 7 nearly two months later. However, the delay isn’t the main reason for this review. The real issue is the quality of the product and my overall experience. I paid almost $400 and repeatedly explained the exact transition lens color and frame color I wanted.
