BEST Doc visit ever for my son! They spent more time explaining everything than any other medical appointment I have ever been to. Kids will also love the xboxes in the lobby, and free tiny Lego set at the end.
Just adding another one-star review to this abysmal gastroenterology clinic. The doctors and staff here seem about as inept as they are unresponsive. My 11-year-old daughter has been dealing with excruciating abdominal pain and has been unable to eat much at all. I call this clinic, despite their terrible reviews, because these are seemingly the only pediatric gastroenterologists in Utah. Not only did Primary Childrens GI not properly treat my son 13 years ago which made him 19lbs at 3yrs old! They are failing again with my daughter. Ignoring medical family history, ignoring abnormal labs, ignoring visual confirmation that something is going on. Throwing medicine at her and sending her to the dietitian. That’s not the problem. Worst front office staff ever!! I spent 30 minutes on hold to be told my son could no longer be seen by Dr. Pohl because he is now 18yrs. old. I spoke with my son's pediatrician and he referred me to an adult gastroenterologist. When I called the Intermountain adult gastroenterologist, the receptionist said, "oh it looks like Dr. Pohl has recommended an adult gastroenterologist Dr. K. Peterson at the U of U.
