As a new patient, from start to finish the experience was great. The front desk was super busy yet kind and professional. Dr Jana’s assistant was personable and compassionate. Last but not least Jana - she treated me with respect, kindness, and really listened to what I had to say. There was no rushing and pushing me off to other doctors. She didn’t treat me differently because of my weight. For once I feel there is hope to find out what’s going on with me and I have a supportive team behind me to help me do that. I have been trying to get prior authorization for a continuous glucose monitor. Still haven't gotten it. I have called my insurance company 3 times. The person in the doctors office tells me that I need to call my insurance to see if there's anything I can do to "help get the authorization approved." And she said it very rudely in her message to me. And my Dr., Dr Qui, was great to me in the office, but won't respond to messages, or things that I, as a patient, need when he's sent a message. I have new insurance for 2026, and I was looking for a new PCP. Dr Dewsnap was In-network so I decided to see her. I also wanted her to check on some troubling symptoms that I've been experiencing lately. Namely, sharp abdominal pain, low grade fever, and persistent fatigue. I also informed her that I'd had an Appendectomy in Sept of last year.
