I have been trying to get prior authorization for a continuous glucose monitor. Still haven't gotten it. I have called my insurance company 3 times. The person in the doctors office tells me that I need to call my insurance to see if there's anything I can do to "help get the authorization approved." And she said it very rudely in her message to me. And my Dr., Dr Qui, was great to me in the office, but won't respond to messages, or things that I, as a patient, need when he's sent a message. I have new insurance for 2026, and I was looking for a new PCP. Dr Dewsnap was In-network so I decided to see her. I also wanted her to check on some troubling symptoms that I've been experiencing lately. Namely, sharp abdominal pain, low grade fever, and persistent fatigue. I also informed her that I'd had an Appendectomy in Sept of last year. I have new insurance this year. I needed to find a new PCP, as well as seeking help for some troubling abdominal pain, accompanied by low-grade fever, and persistent fatigue. I scheduled an appointment with Dr Dewsnap. Wow, that was a huge mistake!! Without a doubt, absolutely the WORST Doctor appointment I've ever had in my entire life!!
