My husband, both my kids and I are patients at the primary care center for a few years now. I found this place when I use to take my mom over there for her doctor visits. I use to go to some other doctor in Decatur before then. When I saw how good they were with my mom, I switched and I am glad I did. I even stopped going to my Gyn because primary care does pap smears too and at cheaper copay than my Gyn.. This is by far the best doctor's place I have been to.They deliver what they promise. I have been using this place for all my medical needs for five years now. Dr Shikh is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen and he has the most wonderful bedside manner. Great place, great staff.
I went to this clinic because I had a cough that has been going on for more than 3 weeks. The doctor was abrupt and told me he wanted to take a chest x-Ray to make sure I didn't have walking pneumonia. I asked if there was no other way to check for pneumonia. The doctor insisted that was the only way to make sure. It turns out that there actually is a specific blood test for walking pneumonia. Either the doctor is a liar and just wanted insurance money for taking an x-Ray, or he is incompetent and doesn't know and didn't bot... read more
