I could clearly hear my doctor and her temporary nurse discussing my private medical history and care plan outside my exam room. This not only felt disrespectful but also raised serious concerns about how my protected health information is being handled. My primary care physician referred to me as a “migraine” after disclosing information that was loudly discussed in the hallway of the exam rooms. I will not continue coming to and St Elizabeth and I will especially not be seeing Lindsey Jackson or her temporary nurse again.
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent appointment with my primary care physician, Dr. Lindsay Jackson. The experience left me feeling unsafe, dismissed, and deeply harmed, and I believe her behavior was inappropriate and unprofessional. A doctor’s note is a struggle for them to fill out, so God bless you if you have an actual problem of substance you’re needing help with. My wife, 3 kids, and I are finished with the St. Elizabeth healthcare system as of now.
I went here simply to do a standard check up. The doctor I saw was Schulte. I was told by him that my Blood Pressure (bp) was too high and that I need to come back in 3 months. But the After visit summary I received after my appointment said my bp was at a normal level? The nurse took my bp as well so I’m assuming that’s where the numbers came from but still the inconsistency is confusing. So that’s the first issue.
