From Stan Schwartz I looked into a Nextdoor referral for roofers. Joe Priest Roofing caught my eye first as one of his very satisfied customers wrote an especially nice story regarding several estimates they had gotten before choosing Joe. Word of caution. Our gutter installers discovered 1/2 of our new roof didn't take shingles past the drip line and the roofer nailed the bottom row of shingles. We've calls into Joe Priest to correct the issues, but as of this writing we've had zero response. Problem was due to lack of oversight for more inexperienced workers assigned to that 1/2 of our roof. The good 1/2 was correctly installed. Same happened the year of install. Professional service Joe comes and actually measures roof. Most companies use online estimation apps which vary (roughly 1-3 square overage) which drives estimates sometimes over 1K than what is needed, the crew is awesome and go nonstop they clean as they go so property never looks bad. Pics provided when issues are found with explanations of what, why and how it needs to be resolved. They did magnet sweeps at least 5 times to ensure no nails left behind .
